Picture 1 is the kee chang stuffed with red bean, there's no need to eat with sugar nor gula melaka anymore. The red bean paste is sweet enough to go with the kee chang, but still not too sweet until you feel 'jelak'.
Picture 2 is the oat bak chang. The main difference here is it is not made of glutinous rice, but oatmeal! Very healthy! The rest of the ingredients are the same, with nuts, chestnuts, mushroom, sinful pork belly (sam chan bak) and of course my favourite salted egg yolk. So you can enjoy as many chang as you wish without the guilt since it's oatmeal! :)
My neightbour also makes tao chang and the conventional bak chang. All are good. You can reserve the chang 3 days in advance. She does delivery too. Call my mom if you need her contact information.
端午节快乐!
