I've just signed up for a packaged tour to Guilin with a tour operator in Penang, departing during the Raya holiday season. I know it's too early to be excited but I am excited nonetheless! My heart already started to fly far faraway, looked up pictures of Guilin, even thinking of extending my trip at the transit city Bangkok for a couple of days! Hehehe... really hong soh. Now I've got one more thing to look forward to in my monotonous life. :)
This Guilin trip will be the mother's day and birthday treat for my mom this year. In fact she'll be celebrating her 67th birthday in Guilin! Yippee!
Every year I vow to bring my mom somewhere for holiday to make up for the guilt of not being able to always be by her side in Penang. It's not cheap to keep this promise, but seeing the smile on my mom's face during the trips is simply priceless... and that's what keeps me doing it annually.
ho cha wa mah.... I never go holiday with my mum :P
